This is the quote at the beginning of chapter two pertaining to lily and Rosaleen leaving onto another place to "escape" whats going on at home with T. Ray. whats significant about this is not only do bees scatter from place to place as Neel somewhat pointed out, but they also look for places in which the envirnment is better and where there are suitable, and better living conditions. they do leave T.Ray in somewhat of a drastic change in the since that what they have known a good bit of their lives is moving on and is somewhat like a new chapter. they could easily come back to T.
